
HybHR - Our Hybrid HR & Team Ops Platform

At BiTechX, weâre a team of 10+ specialistsâdesigners, developers, and operations expertsâwho work in a hybrid setup, switching between home and local co-working spaces. Managing that kind of flexibility requires more than just good communicationâit demands reliable, integrated systems that keep everything running smoothly.
For the longest time, we relied on a sprawling set of Google Sheets to track everything from payments to leaves to workspace location. But as we planned to scale, it became clear: spreadsheets werenât going to cut it. So we did what any ambitious tech team would doâwe built our own platform.
And thatâs how HybHR was born: a lightweight, fully customized HR and team management app made for modern, hybrid teamsâstarting with us.
2. đ The Challenge
Even teams that build great tools need tools that work for them.
We love Google Sheets (we really do), but the manual juggling of dozens of tabs for:
Payment logs
Attendance
Leave tracking
Workday limits
Contracts
âŚwas costing us time, accuracy, and sanity.
We explored tools like Jibble and Workfolio, but they didnât suit our use case: small but fast-growing hybrid teams that work with contractors, freelancers, and flexible work hours.
